The bank made decision based on its own analysis,

It's funny/sad that the judge doesn't know this.

There is only one absolute value on real estate, what it sells for!
Also, my understand there was no goodwill factor in the financials which every operating business has.

Imagine sitting in a court room with an AG and judge who have made it known they hate you .......and your crime is securing loans and paying them off. Not one lender lodged a complaint or filed a lawsuit, instead it's an AG that campaigned on getting OMB.

If only the State of NY and the Federal government had the balance sheet and income statement Trump's corporation has.

Trump's attys didn't ask for a jury.

So you realize that is not true or just too lazy to learn facts?

I don’t get it. That assertion, that he didn’t seek a jury trial and by extension opted for a bench/judge trial is accurate. Did I misinterpret your post to begin with?

The dang judge admitted that he did not feel a jury trial was appropriate for the charges

Sheesh... it's in the news

CBS news:
quote:

"It would not have helped to make a motion. Nobody forgot to check off a box," Engoron said.

quote:

Engoron said the punishment being sought by the state is an "equitable" remedy, as opposed to a "legal" remedy

Personally, I think the judge is batshite crazy as it involves the taking of property so a jury is appropriate but I'll have to wait until appeals to see if I'm right

In the news? Well let me know that right off next time so we don’t go down this road of chaos and confusion again. Think of the children for once, you damn rascal.

Quite appropriate because I meant it in a merry way.
