Watching nearly 40 year old Lebron Lebron James play 40 minutes tonight, reminded me of the dubiously unreported story that tied his wife and trainer to HGH & Balco.

I actually like Lebron, but I have a hard time believing that is enduring greatness is due solely to his "dedication" and the "millions he spends on his body each year." Maybe if that money includes the HGH and paying to squash a major story, because it isn't due to massages and cryo chambers.

It just blows my mind that we are expected to believe everyone in his inner circle was using HGH and he never tried them out. What's even more incredible, is that the story went largely unreported by the major media outlets. Just straight up buried.

Of course he's doping. So was Brady.

The really interesting part of the Lebron’s and Brady’s is the way these major sports leagues close their eyes and let it happen. I think mostly they have realized the fans don’t really care. Hopefully medicine has come along far enough not to have major medical affects on these guys down the road, creating major illegal black eyes for everyone.

Of course I realize how impossible it is for the sports leagues to really prove most of this too. I just don’t think they are really trying to.

I don't think performance enhancing drugs are anything new in the NBA

I am pretty sure Jordan was juicing like hell in the 90s and the NFL has been juicing since forever. Nobody cares.

Only sanctimonious baseball writers (who are the worst) care.

Plenty of 80s and 90s NFL guys are still around brother.

I have no problem with performance-enhancing drugs. I am a spectator, I want to be entertained. The only time I ever followed baseball was the McGuire vs Sosa home run title season. I want to be entertained.

I have no idea whether he used PED’s. Either way, he’s a gifted athlete, and he works hard to stay great.

Seems the latest story of his manager betting on NBA games and "cannot remember" if he bet on games Lebron played in sure seems to be getting buried as well.

Both things are probably true. He is probably using PED's but also spends millions doing things for his body to keep it in top shape. Think if he was only do one the results wouldn't be as good as they are.

Still hate LeBron FWIW.

Jordan may have used some PEDs, but nothing about him screamed it like Lebron does. Lebron is basically Lance Armstrong 2.0. He has a well-crafted regimen that avoids tests.

Really dont care if athletes use PEDs. Its the fact that its selectively enforced that bothers me.

No one on our team would be able to get away with it.

Absolutely
His on PEDS . The nba know this and they cover it up because they want their number 1 money maker around as long as possible .

Tbh if it’s just a longevity PEDs like peptides or hgh I don’t have a problem with it cos technically they don’t actually improve
Performance . However I feel like his also on a high does of TRT because the dude is muscular as hell for his age and someone that isn’t in the weight room all that often

As much as Jordan’s athletic ability decreased from his time before the 1st retirement, I can’t see where there’s evidence of juicing. He was slower and jumped with less force from the floor…..It doesn’t add up.
