I'd rather Bama win than two yankee schools or Texas.

Won't they just count it as a win anyway?

Nope. I’d pull for al qaeda if they were playing Bama.

Nope.

I cant think of a situation where I will pull for Bama, unless it means LSU benefits tremendously.

The only team I wouldn’t hate to see win this is Washington.

Michigan - cheaters big10 and Harbaugh is a prick
Texas - biggest unwarranted superiority complex in sports.
Bama - biggest warranted superiority
complex in sports.

2 out of the 4 would directly hurt or help LSU depending how you view it.

But it brings up an intriguing question: Who would the Red Menace hire if Saban did retire? Dabo? Bring back Sarkisian? Or Kiffin? (I'm spitballing here) There truly is nobody alive who wouldn't be a major downgrade in the head coaching position for them.

Maybe BK will go there. It would be nice to see the gumps melt over going 9-3 every year.

I’ll only pull for em when they play Florida. There is no force on heaven or earth that can get me to root for the gators in anything.

We don’t go head to head on recruits vs Kirby like we do $aban. There is never a scenario where we should pull for tGumps. Never.

Mmmm, I think I’d hold my nose and pull for them over Texas. Texas coming into the SEC as the defending National Champions would be much, much worse for recruiting than if Bama wins another. We’re about to start battling harder with them for recruits regardless. I’d much rather continue to have ‘19 and ‘07 are more recent than ‘05. Not sure how much it’d actually ever really matter, but I’d rather keep it just in case. Go Huskies.

I'm rooting for a Washington/Michigan final with Washington winning.

Because the top two teams I don't like are

1. Alabama
2. Texas

Saban has already failed in the NFL.

Saban was 15-17 in two years with a franchise that was 4-12 the year before he started and 1-15 the year after he left. What do you expect?

Does anyone believe Saban made the wrong choice in going back to the college game and becoming one of the most significant coaches of all time? There are plenty of coaches who won a Super Bowl (even multiple Super Bowls) and will not be as revered historically as Saban.

Besides, NFL success is mostly about the QB and getting a great one has a lot to do with luck. You are usually either in position to draft a great one (Elway, Manning) or you find a diamond in the rough (Brady, Warner). You don’t necessarily have a lot of control over that.

Saban will only retire once he can’t win national championships anymore. Winning sustains him. If he can’t sustain his program he’ll finally quit.

Saban won’t go out on a losing note… if they win it he may retire, but doubtful. I just font see how Michigan can beats Bama. Their offense is not really that good. And they have not faced a team that is more physical as Bama. Plus Bama has way more speed than Michigan….
