Not sure if this fits a Kevin trap, but the crow bar to the chest when he tries to kill the tarantula would definitely be broken ribs and possible internal bleeding.

Kevin electrocutes Marv with up to 150 Amps of electricity, which is almost double the “lethal” amount

One correction, 100-200 milliamps are lethal.

So 1,000 times the lethal amount.

This is a fantastic thread, but I wish it would've gone into the Overanalyze thread for posterity.

Maybe after this thread is done, OP can copy/paste it into that thread so it can be a part of one of the best threads ever on this board. Because this deserves to be in it.

first off. this is the kind of list i can get behind!

i think most of your early fall traps are ranked too low. at 8 ft drop with no starting momentum we are talking about a ~15 mph terminal velocity. We are landing on limbs and spine we have high chances of significant injury. neck and head, good chance you arent getting back up again.

This is good. I think the ladder falling is under rated, depending on the weight of that tool chest, it could be too. From experience, don’t think anyone slips on hot wheels.

It just seemed like a lot of effort for a movie board post.

The ornament walk should be closer to minor annoyance than a potential serious injury. It's the only trap that completely relies on a previous trap to work and required Marv to neglect to look before he put his feet down even though he knows the house is booby trapped by that point. If Marv keeps his shoes at best it's just a window breech alarm.

I’ll take the ornament walk over that fricking nail

Had to scroll through the nail foot pic to keep from cringing. I didn't do that with the ornaments.

The wife and I watched part 2 last night. Marv says “I’m gonna murder that kid”.

How? No one in this movie seems to be able to die!

Have we looked into the possibility that Harry and Marv are actually immortal.

They beat death so many times it's unreal.

I stated at the beginning that all traps are assumed to work. Obviously Marv isn’t gonna walk off a ledge

Why was only staple to the arse mentioned. He definitely got a staple to the balls/dick. Which. Would be way way way worse.

Also, the nail could easily permea you frick up your foot.

the nail through the foot would put most people out of commission for a long time.

Still gives me chills
