Do you want to believe this was some innocent mistake? It was not.

It was informed. It was calculated. It was deliberate. And they would still be doing it had they not taken such a dramatic hair cut.

Let’s not forget the messaging that got us here. Essentially AB says that not only is it ok to embrace an acute form of mental illness, but that it should be supported and celebrated and others should join in too.

read that again if you have to.

This isn’t an oops my bad kind of moment. And let’s be honest “AB isn’t trying to learn and grow” here. You’ll forgive me if I’m not so simple as to believe that throwing a bunch of cash at “some modern American icons ” instead changes anything at all.

Is it surprising that people that worked up about Bud Light are led by a bunch of phony grifters?

Bud Light: Why the Right loses

Bud light is just one example of many.

How many on this very board swore off Faux News and are fully aware that they're naught but controlled opposition Uniparty propaganda, but still tune in to watch them and won't even consider giving OAN a chance?

How many on this very board are fully aware that their beloved SEC sports teams are run by woke entities that are ate up with the DEI and openly hate anything white, male and Christian, but still pay your alumni dues and spend thousands a year buying merch and attending games?

How many on this very board are sick of LGBTQ propaganda being shoved in our faces on the TV through both programs and commercials, but still pay their cable/satellite bill every month?

How many on this very board still ultimately step up and vote for incumbents like McTurtle and Rubio, knowing full well that they're just Establishment Swampers but "better than the other guy"?

...

It's not just Bud Light. It's easy not to drink a cheap beer when there are already other cheap beers that are as good or better. The Bud Light issue is just a side-effect symptom. The real issue is the Right having as short of a memory as they claim everyone in the mainstream has. The real issue is the Right putting their long-standing traditions like Saturday tailgating in front of their allegedly deeply-held principles and morals. The real issue is the Right being so comfortable that they're willing to accept the status quo in exchange for a moderately slow decline, as opposed to being willing to rock the boat and endure some short term suffering in exchange for long term improvements down the road.

The "Right" is weak, and without conviction. Just like Kid Rock. Bud light is just a symptom of the disease that has emasculated conservative America.

Did you really think Bud Light was going to stay down forever? InBev has deep pockets my friend, and it was just a matter of time until BL changed their tune and sided with right wing companies and right wing personalities again. I'm being a realist. You're an optimist clearly (see all the DeSantis threads).

They learned their lesson.

What was going to happen was you make a bunch of people that didnt do this lose their jobs.

Bud light got the message loud and clear. No need to go left wing on them.

Destroy a couple of them so that others preemptively get the message.

They did get destroyed. Plants shut down.

Im pretty sure bud light is going to think twice about hiring a liberal woman to do their ad campaign.

It's safe to say the political mainstream has a more cogent, coherent message for where they want to take America than the right. That message may not always be popular and may lead America on a new, unfamiliar path, but it least it's clearly understood. The Right never fully illuminates why their message is somehow "right."

I still don’t know anyone voluntarily purchasing Bud Light. Sure, you could go to a venue where there are limited options and might drink one, but I don’t see it flying off the shelves at the store.

Most people won’t go back.

Calling extreme leftists “political mainstream” speaks volumes about how far left you wackos have gone.
