What??

It was originally a rejected R rated Star Wars script literally written by Kennedy that Snyder basically reworked. Enjoy.

It was an idea that Snyder had had since film school that he pitched to Kennedy and she passed.

Sorry, the internet got that wrong. It was an R rated star wars script rejected BY Kennedy.

So he was sitting around thinking about degenerate star wars when he was younger. Why am I not surprised?

Either way, yet another failure.

This right here should tell you how bad this movie is. Kennedy, who adores a female and lesbianish character turned this movie down. Disney makes nothing but garbage lately and turned this crap down. Let that sink in for a minute.

I tried watching it. I really did . But it didn’t take very long for me to bail. From the very start, the movie just felt like it was made by AI. Nothing felt real or authentic.

Just a terrible mess.

The main actress is one of those badasses that can beat any man in a fist fight.

Pass.

I watched the whole thing. This "fellowship of the ring" thing where they go recruiting all these people was boring. The climax on the hovering platforms was lame. I had no reason to care about anyone.

It did look good in places. But it made me appreciate the Star Wars effects. Say what you want about the most recent stories...but the effects were awesome.

They go recruit all these characters, and it's literally like fight scene where the character shows of his/her skill then the protagonist is like "hey join us, and they are all like "ok" then they all do basically nothing for the entire rest of the film.

The film hypes up this big battle to save the farm that ends up never taking place because they end up fighting in some other planet.

One guy takes out the entire big evil ship thing because he killed a guy in the gunner seat and somehow the gunner threw a switch by accident as he died that caused the entire ship to sink to the ground.

So I finally watched it. I guess it was meh? I didn't hate it, but I wasn't really into it either. I thought the story had potential, but felt rushed. Very little character/story development, or really any reason why we should care what is going on.

The fight scenes were okay. Odd that the fight scenes were mostly 1 character while the others just stood around watching. Also, it would have really helped if they didn't go for the teeny boppy pg13 rating.

Unfortunate. Could have been really good.

Took me two different tries to finish it. I still don't really know what I just watched, I just know it didn't do much for me. Pretty disappointing.

Watching this all I could think of was to just give Zack Snyder the reigns to Halo and let him direct a trilogy but pair him with a good scriptwriter.

Also are we going to hear "but muh director's cut" from him everytime this guy directs something?

He is the guy though to bring Halo to the big screen correctly.

I enjoyed it. No it’s not the best film of the year but I don’t see how it’s any different than Guardians of the galaxy or any other marvel spectacle this board nuts over

MFer couldn’t even bring Watchmen to screen correctly and he was doing it panel by panel but his stupid arse fumbled the ending.

Hack Snyder should be unhirable at this point.

I understand the ending was different but I thought we liked the Watchmen now.

Way more faithful than most other adaptations these days.

His ending was a bit of a cop out. He went the easy route that would appeal more to the non graphic novel readers. But it was still a fantastic movie and overall a pretty faithful adaption.

I legitimately enjoyed Watchmen... I think people thought "Superheroes! Fun!" and simply balked at their depiction in the movie (even though it was very true to the source material).

This movie is exactly the same as every other Netflix action movie. It is somewhat entertaining but also just terrible
