I avoid my MIL as much as possible. Luckily, my wife wants to as well.
They are coming to our Christmas Eve service but we are going our separate ways after that. My wife told them not to come over to our house after because she'll be worn out (she worked the night shift at the hospital last night).

That is why you fight at thanksgiving. When you do, Christmas is all yours.

My MIL is alright, my FIL is a pain in the arse.
He’s a small town lawyer and never shuts the frick up. And if he’s not talking to someone around him, he’ll call someone on the phone and talk to them on speaker phone.
We we’re driving through some Christmas lights the other day, listening to music in the car, this arse hole gets on the phone at like 8 PM and starts dictating notes for work.

My ex-MIL was literally Satan!

Finally, the trashy Christmas PbP thread has arrived.
You're gonna have to hit her, or at least call her a whore or something to really get things rolling.
Maybe just keep pushing for a threesome.

I bet you there is a least one poster on the site that has fricked their MIL in the arse.
Pretty trashy, but its a safe bet.

I love my MIL. She looks like Martina McBride and she’s cool as hell.

Do ya'll not meet your future MIL before you get engaged and get to know her? Does it not click in your brain that you will be marrying into this family and should/will be spending time with these folks during the holidays?
Not going to not marry my wife because her mother is crazy. Hell, my wife complains more than I do. It's a chore.

My MIL is incredible. One of the reasons I felt so sure that I wanted to be with my bride forever.
Incredible cook. Insanely generous. Kind hearted. Thin. Huge knockers.
I feel sorry for those that have shite for in-laws. I enjoy mine immensely.

Have mercy on my soul…..my mother in law lives with us.

My MIL has never been anything but great to me. She would move heaven and earth to do anything for her grandchildren.
Our personalities could not be any more different, as she is as loud and obnoxious as the day is long. It bleeds over to my BIL who shares her personality and stays with us as well.
Luckily, my wife gets tired of her mom even quicker than I do, so I’m rarely the one most eager to get her out of the house

If they would mind their business and don’t try and run the show, even though it’s not at her house. It’s like my hard headed little friend Thor. He is a pug and he is hard headed but damm. Even he knows when it’s time to mind his own business

My MIL is two years older than me, so there’s that

Damn what's the age gap between you and your wife? Was that weird at all?

Mine treats me like her own, especially since my mom passed. I’d hate to know how you feel about your wife if you can’t stand her mom
