I don’t think they’re stupid at all. Sure you’ve got some obvious idiots, but the ones calling the shots are not stupid at all. They vote in lockstep together and avoid shooting inside the tent (unlike Republicans).
Their main issue is they overplay their hand often. Evil and vile, yes, but stupid they are not.
