I’d rather have that first round bye, but hosting a playoff game sure would be fun.

Tiger Stadium goes crazy for a good regular season game. What would it look like for a playoff game?

Playoff game in late December would be a great chance of horrible weather. A BYE would always be preferable.

Note: the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship games will be played NOT at home stadia but at predetermined sites/bowls.

At home? The temps would likely be between 50-70 degrees. LSU plays the majority of it's football schedule during hurricane season. Thats a much bigger chance of HORRIBLE weather.

55 degrees and rainy (typical in late Dec here) is not good for most LSU fans. Of course it could be 75 degrees and clear. :-) Not worth the chance to me. Rather be top 4 anyway.

Would love to see a home playoff atmosphere like everyone else has said. Would be amazing.

Here’s a good breakdown of the format and sites of games. Looks like you’d host at your selected site. Also, they show how a 12 team playoff would’ve looked this year. I personally think LSU gets in at 12 this year if they did it.

For a home playoff game? Something tells me the people who would have an issue with that type of weather would also be leaving at half time regardless of anything.

I was thinking about this too. I know the WBB tournament they went straight to priority points and not season ticket holders. How do they do the baseball tournament? I can’t imagine they wouldn't let you keep your seats.

Prefer first round bye, but the home playoff game with no bye is a fine consolation prize.

The world doesn’t hate us. LSU is actually a fan favorite, even in the South. Especially when we play Bama. The world isn’t Donaldson, or Keith Jackson. You need to get out more.

A playoff game in Tiger Stadium will be the loudest thing on earth short of a space shuttle launch...Count me in!

Take the home playoff game. You get a bye week during conference championship week and you get to host an awesome matchup as a fan. Best of both worlds

Home playoff game would be in December. And just because the world hates us, they'd play it during the day. No thanks.

Is the weather not nice during the day in December in Baton Rouge?

1. You might play in the SECCG, lose, and NOT get a BYE. That's a lot of games.

2. Rather a day game in December than a night game if it is played outside.
