Ive found to draw in Woodpeckers, you need suet or bird feed with a lot of nuts. Downside is the nuts also attract the
f-ing squirrels but if you have the right type of birdfeeder the squirrels cant get to it.

Yeah, I've had the woodpecker suet out, just no takers that I've seen. I've never tried feeding them, and I think the same line has been in this area for several years. Maybe they just aren't used to it yet.
