I’m not a fan of just restrictions, as in I think doing actual work whether it be chores, a job, volunteer, etc. Making the punishment staying busy doing something they don’t want to do.
But, why was he speeding? Just wanted to go fast? Showing off? Etc?
I went 132 in HS. Not proud of it, it was over a 3 mile bridge when I got off at like 11pm at night from my job so relatively safe…but…not abnormal for a teenager to do.
