I got a ticket about a month after I got my first car when I was 16.
My parents told me that I knew better than that. That they had paid for me to have a car. They were going to have pay the ticket until I paid them back in the summer and maybe would have to pay increased insurance.
Total guilt trip but I felt really bad.
I actually have never gotten another speeding ticket and I'm 45.
