Yes the older building before it burned down was featured on the TV show man vs. food.

Both of my grandfathers worked for Mohawk tire in Helena.

It closed down in the early 80s and my grandfather on my mom side was a former Army Green Beret, Arkansas Air national guardsman. He decided that he wasn't going to stay and went to a technical school in Camden. Was able to retire in his early 50s.

I spent my Thanksgiving years in Camden. 30-50 family members all elbow to elbow in that house.

They've been spotted all over Mississippi too. I watched a man storm out at Bass Pro once because the employee laughed at him when he said he needed a trail cam to get pictures of a family of squatches living on his property.

Decent for a weekend trip for some hiking/boating. Hidden gem? Bit of a stretch.

Someone I know that lived in Siloam Springs, had one in his backyard.

An individual in Bella Vista let a small dog go outside. Something came out of the bushes and grabbed the dog by the mouth and jumped back into the bushes. They never saw the dog again.

This isn’t about Arkansas in particular, but it’s kind of funny how this board will shite all over Louisiana (for good reason) and completely ignore the similarities between it and a Mississippi, Arkansas, etc
As almost everyone in this thread has mentioned, half of Arkansas basically is Louisiana and Mississippi. It’s terrible, full stop. That’s been very well covered.

I agree. We've been in Garfield since 2014. I've lived in seven states due to work, and I'm originally from BR; grew up in Villa Del Rey in the late 60s, 70s.i have great memories of LA. We love NWA. We get 4 seasons and enjoy the peace & quiet. I still go down to BR regularly, and I get my fix on LSU, food, visiting friends, etc. I've got several Razorback friends. We like goading each other during football season, but it's all in good nature. It angers me to see how the so called leaders of BR have let the city go. Don't get me started. I still haven't explored all the beautiful places in AR but plan to do that more this year.

Had family that lived there and here is what they had to say about it. Arkansas is great if it weren’t for the people.

A lake has to freeze over for the area to be proclaimed as having winter?

Hey Great Lakes Tiger, you think anything will freeze over in NW Arkansas this week?

Dude, 99% of the readers of this board will look at the forecast below and say, "Yep, that's Winter".

Well I visited Jasper, Arkansas and I saw cars with license plates from Louisiana and Mississippi.

The couple that owns the Cliff House Inn are from Louisiana.

I told them would they ever move back? They said no.

One of the things I like about Arkansas is there isn’t big resorts everywhere. I also like a lot of their big lakes, houses aren’t allowed to be built. North La, just about every lake has houses all around it seems.

I recommend Lake DeGray. Water is clear & plenty of activities.

Arkansas has a lot of nice landscape scenery but the women there all look like Bill Clinton.
