We need a few bodies with a couple of years of college strength and conditioning. I don’t have hope a true freshman is going to come in right away and be consistent.

We can move Jones and Shand to the middle and bring in a few in the spring. They need to move the minimum number to like 90 or 95 players. Especially while the transfer portal and NIL is a free for all. Then you can stack up the OL and DL. Won’t have to worry about numbers and won’t have near as much attrition from year to year. We could bring in more developmental players and keep them here long enough to actually develop them. I think this would fix a lot of issues all schools currently have.

We should go after Alex Foster from Mississippi, he's extremely underrated, imo. His senior film is legit and he has a frame that could add a ton of weight allowing him to play inside in the future. I read that Bo Davis is higher on him than McKinley

I don’t think HS recruiting is the fix to the immediate issue though. We will more than likely have to go get more tranfers. At least 3 DLman. If we recruit more HS players, that leaves less room to get transfers.
We may have to release some of our DBs and Lbs to make room for the DLman. Either that or just start playing some of these young guys we have on DL. We will have a better idea of who to keep and who to let go in the spring but we need to have our DL here by that time. We still have time to get them here.
Go get some 1 year guys for the DL in the portal and then load up with talent in 2024. Let go of the ones who you don’t see as getting playing time in the next two years on the DL. Then get more 1 year guys where ever you need them. That way, they play the year and leave and you can still get more players here in the recruiting cycle.
We will have to release and replace a lot more players in the next two years because we need immediate impact guys so bad. We can slowly turn it around but these HS and multiple year transfers need to be ready by year two at the very least. If not, let them go and replace them with one year guys or more guys you think can until you get where you need to be.
