Why?

Less than 48hrs from testing and Horny Spice still in control of RB

The announcement comes as the team adopted an entirely new approach to developing its car over the winter break by "pushing everything to the limits".

Piss poor planning leads to piss poor performance

Albon prob hoping RB or Merc comes a calling here soon.

I do not understand why people think he may go to Mercedes. Russell is better than him and they are going to need a spot for their top prospect soon unless he is a bust in F2.

Shades of 2019.

The other day Vowles was spinning their not doing a shakedown at Silverstone as "you don't learn anything in the wet."

Yeah feels like a Claire Williams disaster class. I think a lot of vowles, not sure what’s going on.

Supposedly they are prepping last year's cars in case they do not have the FW46 ready.

If true, they are wayyyyy behind.

Apparently they just did some crash test work on the new tub last week.

This is a disaster for Williams and definitely reminds of the situation featured in DTS. Hard not to think less of Volwes unless they pull a McLaren and are much better with the new car.

On another forum a guy that apparently has a source in the teams claims they will be assembling the second car in the pits. Says they will make it but very close.

Guess we'll see.

Yet, they won't let Andretti in

Nah. What Albion did last year in a Williams turd was much more impressive compared to what George did in the Mercedes. He was arguably the most impressive driver last year outside of Max.

Albon is not even close to Russell. I stand by that but we will see how Russell does this year.

I'd argue Russell did better in a worse Williams car. Last year's Williams had some pretty good low-downforce speed. Albon could still hold people off, unlike Russell's Williams that was a sitting duck. Albon is good, though. I'd like to see him in a better car now that he has more maturity.

Piastri was damned impressive for a rookie driver.

Could be wrong, but I just don't see them firing him.

Too much time has passed and now they are backed into the start of the season.

I'd imagine they will come out that he did some questionable things and his punishment is to attend counseling sessions or the likes.

If it had been sexual in nature he would already be gone. They would not want millions of Karens tweeting at them non stop.

He isn’t going anywhere. He is a big part of the sport and sports stars never get taken out when money is at stake.

I like Williams and Albon, but i'd argue this is a bit of a stretch.

The Alpine was shite, and Ocon and Gasly actually podiumed (One being in Monaco, but still).
Alonso in the Aston Martin was impressive, at least the first quarter of the year
Sainz actually won a race and a pole or two
Two McLaren drivers were impressive after the upgrade package came through
LeClerc is usually fighting against his own pit wall every grand prix and performed well

i have high hopes for the williams this year, but the car not being ready is causing PTSD

edit: the FW46 is on the track in Bahrain
