Best Wireless Fence For Large Dog

A stray showed up to my property a few months back. Wife and kids fell in love and has been feeding it ever since. Good dog, barks when cars come down the drive. Some type of Husky/German Sheppard mix. Large dog. Neighbor showed up today informing me that he’s been killing his chickens (he’s right, been seeing feathers in the field) and that I needed to handle it or he’d have to. Any ideas? I don’t want to chain him up but he can’t keep roaming free either. I’ve heard mixed reviews on wireless fences. We have 26 acres. Any affordable gps collars out there? Don’t want to break the bank but also would like to keep from having to tell my kids the dog isn’t going to be around anymore.
