If there is 2 lbs of RL26 3 hours away, you better go get it. And if they have more get that too if you can afford it. That's been the hardest to get powder in years. I got lucky a few years ago and my LGS got 10 lbs and I bought it all. I haven't seen any since. That stuff is so good if you sprinkle it on your cheerios it'll make your farts go 100 fps faster!

That is unless you'd prefer to pay over 100.00 per lb on Gunbroker. I'm down to 5 lbs myself. My 270 loves it.

Yeah, go buy the "extra" RL26 unless you want to finding a new powder 77 rounds later. The RL series of powders have been nearly impossible to find for a couple years now. I've been using RL powders for >30 years, but I'm giving up on RL17. RL 17 has been a wonderful powder for my Rem XP100 in 284 Win, but it's hardly ever available and has become extremely expensive (67/pound at Midway before adding shipping). I can't make myself pony up that kind of money. I use RL 15# a lot, but I've got about 4# of it left. I searched the 'net regarding the extreme prices and unavailability of RL powders. The most interesting claim I found was tied to the war in Ukraine. The Reloder powders are made in Sweden. A lot of the production's been going to Ukraine. What doesn't go to Ukraine goes to other European countries who are stocking up due to their uneasiness for their countries in light of Putin's attack on Ukraine.

ETA: Midway has free shipping for orders>$99 and some of the powders Duckhammer mentioned are in stock. You'll still have to pay a hazardous shipping fee.
