I hope she doesn't leave anytime soon. If she does I hope she is the next AD.

CKM is no doubt happy that “we’ve created a monster that we have to keep feeding,” but she understands what goes along with it.

While it would not be the only reason—she’s over 60 and has had health concerns—don’t be surprised if LSU’s idiot “catastrophe syndrome” fans contribute to her retiring sooner than she might have otherwise.

No LSU Admin nor any LSUWBB fan is putting any pressure on Kim Mulkey. She is respected and adored as much as any LSU HC in any sport in my lifetime.

I am sure, like any high-level coach, she puts pressure on herself.

So you are saying it's nothing more than $$ in WBB? Kim brings value to LSU WBB, LSU Sports, LSU the university, Baton Rouge, and the state of Louisiana. And she brings value to increased interest in WBB in all of college WBB. She was partially responsible with ESPN's deal with WBB. We all know every school loses $$ in WBB, including LSU due to costs. She brings value to WBB in more ways than we can imagine. After the Final 4 last year, WBB gained a ton of attention and LSU was in the middle of it. LSU was the cinderella story, the unlikely NC. The first College GameDay WBB was at LSU. Increased student enrollment have shattered records the past couple years. There is no doubt that success of LSU sports and multiple NC's helped with that. Don't you think the AD is beyond thrilled hiring Kim?

Did you have an original thought or did you rip-off everything that was stated about Nick Saban at Alabama?
Do I know she adds “value”? Yes. Do I think WBB adds value to the bottom line at LSU? Not unless they raise ticket prices. Gymnastics packs the house as well and has for years yet here we are.

My contention is how can we add more value ie help the sport pay for itself, which is what I hinted at and why I said go get a coach Yo or other coach making less to help bring costs down when she does retire.
