BI and Zion are learning how to play winning basketball.

BI is 26 years old and in his eighth season in the league. Last night he attempted 0 threes and took 5 free throws.

Winning basketball in 2023 is making threes and getting to the line.

There is no argument for BI top 30 anymore. You can make an ironclad 30 dude list that BI simply can't Crack. Top 40 is a good as one can argue for now.

But Zion isn't holding up anywhere close to top 10 like we thought he'd be after seeing year 2 Zion.

The West is just really, really deep. I think the 8 seed is tracking for 48 wins, which is crazy considering we made the play in and playoffs with a sub. 500 record 2 years ago.

This is the roughest part of our January schedule, and we're top 10 in a lot of really good advanced metrics. I'm ready to fight and I know the team is too.

All true.

But if we can't avoid the play in with BI and Zion playing 65+, that's a problem.

Yea, the rest of the schedule does setup well for us, so we have to take care of business. Based on win % of remaining opponents, Suns 2nd toughest in the NBA, Sacramento 5th, Dallas 13th, Pels 19th.

So unless we have worse injury luck, there's zero excuse to be a play in team, don't care if we're battling Phoenix or the Clippers, get it done.

Problem is the brain dead coach is only known for yelling “you gotta fight” and that’s about it.

This.

This team really aint that bad and prob top 6 West if you just remove Willie Greens rotation and the BI Clique (BI, Jose, and Naji).

I really don't know what some of y'all want from BI? Y'all complain about him taking to many middy and not taking enough 3's. OKC literally had 3 players on him with Chet camping in the lane all night. So instead of forcing alot of contested mid range shots he got alot of open 3's for teammates we just didn't knock them down.

This has not been said enough the main reason this team has not taken that next step is that our supposed 4th best player in Trey has not played like that most of the season, it was like he wasn't on the court yesterday he did nothing. We need him to at least shoot the ball like he did last season.

Wait, you think it's too much to ask for BI to score more than 20 once in 11 games or to score more 12 when Zion is out... Really? You're setting the bar real low for BI, which is very telling.

Every good offensive player has dudes thrown at him all game. You think BI is the only dude facing this? They still get their points and shots, more than once every 11 games.

His own teammate faces 4 people at a time DAILY lol.

BI stans come up with the craziest fricking excuses for a man searching for 55M a year

Ask yourself this:

How many players put up 21/5/6 on 49/35/80 or better?

Maybe 15-20? Issue is he's a b tier star, but zion has not progressed into the a tier star we need him to be.

I want the 24.7 PPG guy with even better efficiency from last season. That's not unreasonable to ask or expect.

Take away the ridiculous calls they give that dude and he’s scoring 24-25 points a game on 21 shots. Give me Zion not flopping over that all day long.

Look you’re not wrong. But the atrocious refereeing in this league rewards selling and flailing and flopping. Until the NBA corrects it you’re at a significant disadvantage trying to play through contact. It’s why AD sat there and, reluctantly, started talking about how Bi and Zion need to think about selling more and not trying to play through the contact. If absolutely sucks, but it’s the shitty reality of the NBA right now.

Thr best players score no matter what the defense does. Find me the last time a real star scored 20 once in 10 games.

Anthony Edwards has scored single digits 3 times in the last 10 games.
They should trade his worthless arse.

My fear is we are a play in team and make the playoffs and we make no major changes after getting knocked out rd 1

This group HAS TO win a playoff series to justify keeping the core together.
