and they have an actual real student section that has character.

I’m pretty sure the area behind the right field fence at Ole Miss where the students sit is technically not on university property. That’s how they get away with bringing coolers and throwing beer showers and whatnot

Well, is LSU going to keep up or keep its fans sitting in aluminum bleachers without individual chairs?

LSU sells all of those aluminum bleacher seats, so what's their motivation?

It's nearly impossible to get seats in the grandstands. You need to stroke a 5 figure check to even think about it.

You'll see the player upgrades Jay has been banging the drum for before LSU starts sinking money into the fan experience.

The fans have shown with their wallet that they are satisfied with the facility.

Green Bay does it and Lambeau field is always full on game day.

Swayze is more cramped but there’s a little more to it than base amenities too.

Remember what you asked for when they raise prices for everything. If you look at the Business Report today you will see that LSU Athletics operated at a 4mm deficit last year. I can't remember this happening in recent history. I'm hoping that SW's spending not only leads to on field success, but future financial success. Money will come from bigger SEC deals and sponsorships, but don't be fooled into thinking it won't come as a cost to the fans as well.

Why should "we" have to pay extra? Only "they" should pay more. Amirite??

How many have been to that stadium? It’s a dump. That’s a waste of 30 million.

Another glutton that thinks food is more important than the actual game.

This may come as a surprise, but your eyes still work while you grill. The box is sterile and boring.

It is part of the city, but there is nothing stopping you from walking around in the stadium now with beer from the outfield.

That’s a waste... 30 million for 500 more seats.

Swayze left field section is awesome. They have grills rolling smoke onto the field, people get to bring coolers in. It’s a unique experience compared to your everyday baseball stadium. Mississippi State has the same.
Alex Box is cool due to its history of winning. But game day atmosphere I’d take both of the Mississippi schools hands down.
Until LSU lets its fans cook and party inside the stadium we’re not gonna beat their fan/game day atmosphere.

Enhancements to LSU’s baseball stadium:

Another national championship on The Intimidator! And that trumps anything Ole Miss did.

Which if you think about it this is insane. LSU fans are known for drinking and cooking yet in baseball it’s Mississippi fans who are known for this?

Ole piss fans swear they party better than LSU. I don’t see it considering the culture of south Louisiana vs the culture of north Ms

I was very unimpressed with Swayzee Field last year. The outfield seating is a complete joke. The only thing it has on Alex box is chair backs down the lines.
