Best and most versatile XBox controller (NSFW)

I’m sure there’s a thread somewhere in the way back machine but I’m wondering what kind of “extra button options” etc. (ie. Auto-fire? Button remapping?)
The SO just bought me a Series X and I’m waayyy out of touch as to what’s out there for controllers with features beyond standard buttons.
Hopefully some of you have purchased the expensive controllers and have opinions on which ones you guys like and why or why not.

I don't have an xbox but I do play with an elite 2 on PC. I like it alot. I've always been a PS guy until I built this PC and I like this controller better than the dualsense edge. I have heard of elite 2 issues, even on this board, but I've had mine for 4 months or so without any. Its really nice and I recommend considering it.

I'm still using my XBox One white camouflage controller I got for like $30 one Black Friday years ago.
I have a black controller that came with the Series X but it only gets used for two player games.
ETA: I really like the XBox controller and don't feel the need to get anything "better."

I imagine the most popular controllers outside of the generic would be the Xbox Elite series, or anything SCUF. I have both, the first Elite and a SCUF Instinct pro. I use both on PC depending on what games I'm playing. What games do you play and what features are you most interested in?

I have an OG elite that is like 8 years old. The rubber fell off the grips but it's otherwise still perfectly functional. The paddles for A/B/X/Y on the back are total gamechangers for FPS games and very useful for others. Idk how I ever managed to win anything with a normal controller.
