Pyrgos, Santorini for Greek Easter

Has anyone visited Pyrgos Kallistis village in Santorini for Greek Easter? I’m planning a trip there for Good Friday to witness their celebration and trying to figure out if it’s better to stay in Pyrgos or just outside to catch the candlelights.

I’ve been to Pyrgos but not during Easter.
You can stay anywhere on the island and get to pyrgos in 20ish minutes.
