Apparently he will be the new qb coach. I like the hire. Cousins was playing out of his mind before he got hurt.
What are your opinions?

Everything the new OC does is perfect. Till we lose our first game!

I didn’t say anything about it being perfect. Honestly, I’m just happy that it ain’t Carmichael… sue me.

You took that way wrong. Just a riff on fickled fandom. I'm good with giving the OC whoever he wants brother.

Solid hire. The Saint continue their quest to get younger on the coaching staff. Has worked with some very good WRs as a WR coach in and QBs as QB coach. Familiarity with Kubiak and the system they will be installing.
Glad to see the Saint are making hires that transition to the long term maximizing of the whole offense instead of just bringing in guys that have specific relationships with Carr to maximize him. It tells me they want to win with Carr but are not married to him. If he can’t get the job done they will likely have a solid system in place for a QB that can.

Check out some national media posts on Twitter. Apparently bears fans hate this guy, because it looks like how we reacted when atl signed Raheem morris.
One man's trash is another's treasure. I dont know anything about the guy, just interesting when I scrolled through comments.

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is a great way to look at it.
I mean, we as Saints fans rejoiced when Spags was let go. He’s now the head of one of the best defenses in the game in KC.

That's why his ceiling is a DC and not a head coach. Two different animals.

That season alone set is back 5 years.
Loss of 2 2nd rounders and free agent acquisition/personnel changes.

I did not rejoice. I knew that Payton made a mistake when he fired Spags.

Payton fired spags after Spags blamed the personnel department.
A few years later, Payton fired the whole personnel department.
