Stayed at the Hilton garden inn off old mindon rd in bossier and the Hampton inn by airline high school. No issues at either place.

Bossier City. Friend stayed at the Horseshoe casino/hotel last week for $69 a night. Have a Jack Binion steakhouse also although I haven’t tried it lately.

I-20 in Bossier is under massive rebuild. Traffic jam city.

So don’t stay in Bossier if you’ll need to drive to Shreveport for whatever you’re doing. If you do it anyway, learn how to get across the river without using the interstate.

Remington Hotel downtown is nicest hotel other than penthouses at casinos. It's where Kevin Costner, Girard Butler, etc all stayed during movie films

I'd stay at the holiday Inn express on Park Plaza. It's in Fern Ave. Right in the middle of town.

I'd stay in Bossier. Casino hotels or there are other nice choices.

I'd walk down Canal at night for that kind of "traffic" in Baton Rouge

Same. Stayed there last week

Some of the casino hotels are ok but get worn out. Boomtown is terrible and Horseshoe is starting to show it's age

Residence Inn in Bossier. Easy off the Interstate, close to the Boardwalk and Horseshoe Casino. Several nearby restaurants and Flying Heart Brewery. If Interstate is messed up with construction, can get in to Downtown Shreveport via the Texas St. bridge.

Decent breakfast and snacks / free beer and wine in the afternoon.
