It’s situational. Give me a three run dinger or a base clearing double any day. I didn’t see it, so I don’t know the situation. You don’t send a HITTER up to trade an out for a base until late in a game. I really love the aesthetics of a squeeze play.

Well, we were losing by one in the bottom of the 6th inning, so we bunted two runners over with 0 outs.

We scored 5 runs that inning.

Maybe they just wanted to practice bunting in games before the NEEDED to bunt later in the season.
