I'm seeing a ton of both mosquitos and crane flies.
Definitely a different type of mosquito than we normally see in south Louisiana. They're everywhere as someone mentioned, on porches, siding, bushes, etc, but don't seem as aggressive? Doesn't seem like I've been bitten like normal mosquitos, but I haven't been outside a whole lot.

This. They are hanging out together. Really bad under my covered patio in one corner particularly. Saw the same thing on my mom's front porch yesterday. Very odd for this time of year.
