Anybody ever heard of the Atlantic Sun Conference?

Me neither. Central Arkansas is a proud member. 23-31 last year overall. But were 14-16 in conference play. Lipscomb, a juggernaut, won the conference last year. Glad we won today. Woulda been a hard pill to swallow for the Rant had we lost. But you can’t read much into a Monday game. 4-0! Let’s ride.

If you haven’t heard of it, that’s your fault. We’ve played Kennessaw State in regionals from that league. We’ve played, and lost to, Stetson from that league.

For all of the posters on this board that try to make fun of people that say “That’s baseball”, the last two games pretty much sums it up. It is really hard to have 20+ hits & runs in 6 innings. It’s even harder to come back the next day & be even close to that. There is a reason you don’t see many 15 game winning streaks in baseball. It is a flukey game, which makes it so much fun.
