Ronel Blanco is a Spring Training monster.

His pitch mix isn’t bad at all and he’s built like an absolute unit but probably just a AAAA guy forever.

Agree. I bet he gets at least a few big league starts between now & June.

Spring Training was never hittable. . But yeah Blanco hasn't been too shabby so far.

They will let him sit in aaa and kick mediocre arse.

And then, mid-June when “news” breaks that LMJ won’t make a start this season, they will call up Blanco and say, “His season is evidence that we will be fine without LMJ”.

Like that will mean something.

Normally, I do not cheer for a player to be a bust or perform poorly. I prefer to cheer FOR someone and not against someone.

Exceptions to the rules list:
Carlos Gomez
Ratfink McPedoPitcher
And any player on the Dodgers.

That last one stings, because I love Ohtani as a baseball player and his genuine love for the sport.

But rules are rules.

All that said, yeah, I’m hopeful that Yamamoto is a high dollar bust.

This dude Coleman isn't making the team. Another 2 walks today for a total of 6 in 2.1 innings.

Looked at his pitch chart, looks like it's the same thing as the one game I was able to watch he's just absolutely pulling everything glove side. Gotta figure that would be a pretty easy adjustment.

Javi seemed decent today just on the box score. 3 innings 3H 2 solo HR a walk and 6K

He was his typical 94-95 self according to the pitch tracker.
