Cut the grass and now sitting watching the burn pile drinking a beer. Steaks are seasoned waiting to go on the egg this afternoon. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect day to be outside. Hope yall are having as good of a day as I am!

Im actually not enjoying it because my boat is getting a jack plate replaced under warranty. I'd rather be fishing than sitting here on my front porch.

Went scouting for turkeys on some new public land. Saw some of the finest hardwood timber I’ve ever seen. Found plenty of turkey sign. Good day!

Very windy and a little cool up here in North MS but a beautiful day at my farm.

Spent the day working on my jack plate. Down solenoid went bad so I ordered the refurb kit from Bobs Machine. Came with a bad solenoid on down side. Electrical guy came over this week and says bad solenoid. Bought a new solenoid from Auto Zone and reconnected all wiring. Jack plate still does not jack down. I’m going to lose my mind. Are there that many solenoids out there that do not work straight out of the box????

Today is my birthday and I decided to celebrate by not doing anything. So I’m sitting in my hot tub playing on my phone. Happy as can be.

Just getting home with little country2. Ice melted in the cooler that was in my truck. Going get some ice and drink beer with the dog while everybody and their momma come visit

As beautiful as these days are, I hate them in Feb/March. I didn't catch shite. I just cannot make em bite in these conditions.

Went fishing yesterday. It was nice out, caught a few small bass. Theyre biting around midday, caught on live minnows with a cork just tossing it up near brush

I'm not sure what was even wrong with the jack plate. I took the boat in for the free break in service. The guy I know there took it on the water and called me and said the jack plate has an issue and he called Sea Star and they were sending a new one.
Man I hope it's ready tomorrow but then we're getting a front move in Tuesday night or Wednesday.
