Resident Alien on Netflix.

I really liked season 1. Season 2 kind of sucks. Way too much focus on the side characters.

Most definitely. I’ve noticed we have similar taste.

Okay, you asked for it.

Stuff in red is what I've watched. Some of these I've seen before and wanted to do a rewatch, but most of it is new. Let me know if you can't read them and I can try to make them bigger.

This is my newer list of shite to watch that I pick up as I go (from here, from social media, trailers, etc.):

This is an older list I had before I started this new one (just never combined them ):

This is stuff I've watched and pulled off of those lists recently (last year or two):

Just scanning your list pretty quickly, I've seen a number of them, I'll make two suggestions from what I've seen.

My first watch would be The Leftovers. It's my favorite show of all time. I rewatch it almost every year. Lendelof gets right everything that he got wrong with LOST. The writing and acting is incredible and such a unique story. I will say, it's not for everybody, I've seen a few posters on here say they dropped out because it was too weird, but I love weird. If you get through S1 and at least halfway enjoy it, give S2 a shot. S2 is just incredible.

Movie wise, Apocalypto would be tops on my list. Assuming the Scream on your list is the show and not the movie.

That's one I've come close to watching lately, but haven't pulled the trigger on. I remember watching the pilot when it aired, but didn't have HBO back then I don't think, so I never watched it.

I believe it was the new Scream at the time I added it (4). I have no interest in the show.

There are some things on there I add and then forget about, so when I look at it later on I have no idea what it is.

But like Wild Cactus is on there. I assume most aren't familiar with that one, but it was an awesome Skinamax movie from the 90s. I actually own it on DVD, just need to pull a VCR out of storage and watch it one night. Teenage me used to love that one.

127 Hours is a sleeper hit that everyone has forgotten about. Say what you want about James Franco, but he absolutely fricking nailed that role. I don’t recommend that many films frankly because most of them aren’t worth watching, but this one absolutely is. It makes you feel alive
