I am shocked that one of the eastern CUSA schools did not go to the MAC. That tells me that CUSA ironed out a decent TV deal.

UMASS was never going AAC.

At the end of the day, it does not matter, AAC, SBC, Big12, MWC, CUSA, MAC will all be one big organization.

I feel bad for the the big 12 and ACC schools regulated to the G5 circle.

The AAC - I swear they think they have a shot at being a power conference. Poor bastards!!!!

From what I've read WKU wanted to go but they were something of a package deal w/MTSU who wanted to stay in CUSA. They signed their TV deal shortly afterwards and it has a grant of rights. All CUSA teams are likely stuck until the current deal is very close to being up.

Seems like the MAC probably has another school ready to join as their 14th member. My guess would be either Austin Peay or Eastern Kentucky.
