People almost 7ft tall tend to have back, knee or feet problems.

It’s on the record Ben Simmons injured his back in the NBA during quarantine/player strikes by spending too much time on the couch.

I guess it’s possible he is actually just that prone to back problems, but I’m thinking a guy as young as he was would have to have generally terrible habits off the court to legitimately injure his back passively over a few months like that.

Not sure if that injury is related to this one, but spine wear & tear isn’t reversible.

He’s built like a statue, so I have a hard time believing it’s genetic. Could just be years of bad habits intersecting with the gauntlet of being a professional athlete.
