I don't know if I agree with all of this, but some for sure. I think Swann is obviously the backup, especially if Nuss goes down for any extended period of time. Even more so if it's early in the season. However, since Collins redshirted last year, and Swann hasn't yet, I bet the hope will be to redshirt Swann if all goes well and Nuss stay relatively healthy. So, though Swann would be the backup if a backup had to play meaningful snaps, I think Collins would go in and finish out blowouts and maybe come in for a play if Nuss's helmet accidentally comes off and has to come out for a play. They're not gonna waste 1 of Swann's 4 games (to keep his redshirt) on 1 play or in a blowout early in the season.

Great take. I hadn't thought about Swann still having a redshirt available. Even more reason for Collins to paly in mopup duty. The QB management will definitely be a task, but I'm sure BK has a plan. What a great problem to have.
