Tiger stadium new video boards?

Last week I saw they stripped off most of the exterior. They're probably going to swap out LEDs and signs with even more LEDs, making it entirely LEDs and speakers.

Was in the stadium Saturday. Screens were completly gone and you could see the wiring where they should be.

Sound system in Tiger Stadium is so bad. I've heard people say it is hard to get it right acoustically in that stadium, but I'm still holding out hope it is possible.

I suggested in a few of their weekly review surveys that they should include closed captioning for everyone to understand the PA.

since enclosing the south stadium side, the sound has nowhere to go
ideally the sound part of it needs to be on the south side facing north for a better overall experience

I think it’s halted until after the spring game. Then they’ll take the boards down and install the new ones

I don’t think so. The report that came out was that the new board would be the same size as the one Auburn has. If that is true then it won’t be just replacing what is there. It will be much bigger.

And experimenting with different locations of speakers and of course more money that I doubt they want to spend

All I know is, it’s 10’ higher and 20’ wider on each side than the previous
