It may not matter from a legal standpoint but I think it matters greatly from a voting standpoint. If by chance this case went to trial prior to the election and trump was hypothetically found guilty that could sway some number of independents.

In this post, SFP advances the theory that state or local court could prosecute a sitting President. “Cuz it’s not federal, man.”

There’s nothing powerful about Fani Willis. Black people are entitled and spoiled because society allows this bullshite to go on.

Remember when you lied and claimed to be a conservative?

Yet, here you are, defending Fani.

Conservative means different things to different people. if you think maga is Conservative then I'm definitely not your definition of it.

You might conservative (relatively speaking) when you’re at your Marxist coffee shop. Or hanging about in the Tenderloin as you are wont to do.

Nowhere else.

What’s so hilarious is that they’re all vegans in the tenderloin.

Whoa Boy!

I just got my hands on a 23 page grievance filed against #FaniWillis with the State Bar of Georgia

It's very thorough and even has a table of contents citing the ethics rules she's alleged to have violated!

I'll share it as soon as I get permission, but it's a doozie

Not a serious post.

What law would permit the violation of Georgia's rights as a state?

I didn't think there is a federal prohibition, but if there is it's due a federal separation of powers issue. That constitutional hurdle does not exist for a state.

Correct. Yours wasn’t a serious post. You’re doing your omphaloskepsis again.

Supremacy clause. Plus as a practical matter, what the Office of the President could or would do is simply ignore the matter, or maybe ignore isn’t the best word, perhaps just decline to cooperate/participate…..because who’s gonna go pick up the President from the White House on a a Georgia extradition warrant (especially in this case, but that’s beside the point).

Bottom line is Georgia would have to make application probably directly to the Supremes, and as everyone knew would happen they would be swatted down and the matter is settled via jurisprudence for good. Law of the land. But how truly otherworldly poor decision making that would be on the part of GA state prosecutor when (1) they knew or should have known the outcome and (2) considering the now of-record derogation of this state office by no less than her own prior employee, what kinda of fool would double down that horrendously? They probably would, so you might actually be correct on those bases.

But I would hope at least just this once you acknowledge something so fundamental in the prediction of what would happen, and move on to some other argument.

Supremacy clause.
This.
By and large, the Constitutional premise is that a sitting POTUS be left to do his job. The concept that a corrupt, partisan, misandric, racist DA could force the POTUS into court during his term is anathema to such a premise.

I hope your presumption that Willis has a thing to do with running this case is simply a dishonest troll effort.

The Soros-Prog DC apparat is running this thing, not Willis. That's obviously how you get the top-tier likes of John Floyd and Jeff DiSantis rubbing elbows with dummies such as Willis, Bradley, and Wade.
