You know one of the main reasons why Wade never was a Cook fan? He likes long and athletic guards
So Wade was not a fan of cook ,yet he recruited him to Lsu

Would you not agree that his last year at LSU was a bit of a weird year and maybe he and the team were a little distracted?
Obviously he wanted Cook to enter the portal, not sure that was ever questioned. I’m just telling you that was one of the main reasons. He would’ve been dumb not to recruit him to LSU, as a role guy. Cook was never regarded as the prototypical player that Wade was after at LSU
