You need to read yours.
First off, the Muslims who invaded Sicily were descended from Arabs who had previously invaded Northern Africa. Secondly, the very small North African DNA in Sicilians is from the women and children left behind when the Muslims were kicked off the island. DNA has proven that Sicilians are descended by the original inhabitants of the island and they’re closely genetically related to other southern Italians. The average Redneck like you in the US probably has more African DNA than a Sicilian.
