So Saints are def looking for more options at QB. Was this before or after the Peterman signing?

Wouldn't have hated it and would have been a better backup than Peterson.
Basically, throwing a 5th rounder to have someone challenge Haener for the backup spot. Only downside is Pickett's contract is guaranteed, so would have made walking away a little more difficult if/when Haener (or rookie) beat him out. IMO, definitely not worth the 3rd rounder Philly gave up.

Yea but Pickett isn't gonna settle for being a 2nd string for long. And with that would be a whole band of face painters claiming he could be the future of this org. and we'd waste another 5 years giving that bum a shot.

Sure looks like they got took. I mean a neck injury on a guy with history? I'm not rich or nfl or a doctor but I know that you can't confirm anything when it come to the neck and nerve pinch. "It hurts" "I'm dizzy" "I'm numb in my hand a little" all can be claimed and doctors can't prove it either way.

The source is a local sports radio guy in Pittsburg. He might be FOS, but its not like its that far fetched. Also this isn't a subject that generates alot of clicks so why would he be lying? But they didn’t want to offer a 2025 6th for Justin Fields who is the better player. Makes sense with this front office. I always thought the cold weather and wind of Chicago wasn’t Fields’ best place play. In a dome he might have actually showed something.

I’d burn one of those 5th rounders on Milton, from Tennessee. Dude has the big time arm and mobility. But…..no accuracy.
