Frey needs to be in the lineup every game moving forward unless he gives you a reason to take him out.

He's gonna continue to use Milazzo as a defensive catcher that he puts in late in the game with a lead. He's not good enough at the plate to be used as anything more than that, especially against SEC pitching. Neal has his struggles too, but his ceiling is much higher.

As of now your outfield should be Pearson, Frey, Bingham. While Giving Larson and Brown some opportunities as well.

As far as bullpen he just needs to learn more about what guys to go to in certain situations, which has been extremely difficult up to this point. Would love to see Ulloa throw in more meaningful innings, IMO he's our best bullpen guy and didn't throw a lick this weekend.

Jay will right the ship and we will be a much better team in May, we always are.

I think that we should brace ourselves for a rough SEC record a few weeks from now, and I think that we could still be a really good team even if that happens. I think that CF is the greatest challenge - Kling living up to his potential would make this position a strength, but the only other options involve a significant downgrade on defense, and/or little to no experience.

Holman and Jump are clearly the Friday and Saturday guys. Hurd is pretty clearly the Sunday guy, but will likely have a quicker hook going forward (maybe Hurd + Herring on Sundays). Anderson doesn’t appear ready for a weekend spot (or significant role). Bullpen will need a few guys to prove themselves to be reliable - I wonder if Cam Johnson will step up to be a significant contributor down the stretch, or if he’s really that far off given all of his potential.

Isn’t Frey limited due to an injury and can only DH?

I agree with Neal's ceiling is higher, but I can't look past Millazo taking the most professional at bats on the team. I'd rather watch Millazo take ball after ball and get base hits then Neal swing on ball after ball.

Millazo won't hit homers but he does better then Neal at getting base hits, getting on base, and driving in runs.

Everything else you said in your post was correct.

Until his shoulder is better, Frey can only be "in the lineup every game" as DH. Travinski isn't coming out of the lineup so that means he's your everyday catcher just to keep Frey in. I don't see Jay doing that. Once Frey can throw from RF, I'd love to see him in the lineup every day. Until then, I expect that JJ will do as he did this weekend.
