The left has overwhelming control over all of our National Institutions. The MSM and all aspects of it is just one of them.
Although the Left has won the culture war in this country, it's not as though Conservatives are a fringe minority. For a number of reasons, Donald Trump is going to lose this election and what you've linked is one of them. The MSM fancies itself the 4th branch of Government. Donald Trump usurped them once and they vowed to never let it happen again.
All that aside however, there's going to have to be some sort of reckoning. Some sort of negotiated peace between the Left and Right or this country will legitimately risk a fracture from which it may not heal.
My worry really isn't civil war, I don’t think the Industrialized world would allow that. As we all know, Global Influences are powerful. But I do think, as a nation we're at risk of armed civil conflict in large areas of this country where cultural battles are still being fought. Places like Urban and suburban centers of such states as Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Virginia, Ohio, Michigan and some others.
But to the overall point of the linked article, when or if this violence begins, we can all point our collective finger at the American Institution that willingly and knowingly fanned the flames. If riots or civil conflict is ever brought to the American suburbs, reporters would do well to stay away. They would likely be considered the enemy.
