This is good but the idea that you can't even appeal a judgement without getting a bond is insane to me. This goes further than Trump and something that needs to be resolved.

You can appeal without the bond. You cant stop the enforcement action during the appeal without the Bond though.

You are exactly right. It is why we need fewer lawyers making the laws. Lawyers love creating "job security" with their unconstitutional BS!!

this is the law in pretty much every state. If you have a money judgment entered against you in Louisiana, you have to file a suspensive appeal to suspend the enforcement of the judgment. Same concept in prob every state.

Where do people keep getting the idea you have to post an appeal bond in order to appeal? This isn't the case and has been explained numerous times here. The bond is to suspend the enforcement of the judgment.
