Agreed. If you limit yourself to auto, your rental rates will be higher. I just checked Eurocar, and the auto rates are twice of manual of the same size (in SNN). However, it's $7 a day versus $13 a day, which is shockingly cheap. A while ago, it was hundreds of dollars more a week for an auto, I'm sure it will return to that eventually.

How am I going to train my kids on stick without renting a car? Any suggestions? (Drive a 2022 F250.)

I have always loved stick, while not being a driver like most of you, it forces you to pay attention. Number one goal for kids. Pay attention when driving.

After a couple weeks of driving a stick it becomes second nature. Stick doesn’t make you pay any more attention than an automatic.
