You accuse crazy Rog of being “part of the divisive hyperbole machine” while being completely silent about the clear “divisive hyperbole” that is the subject of the OP. For what it is worth. I agree Roger is part of the divisive hyperbole machine. So is Mitch, clearly. Of the two of us, I’m the only one that is consistent enough to state that. You’re not. Making you a hypocrite.

I’m calling you a hypocrite because you are a hypocrite. No big deal. Everyone has some hypocrisy in them. Yours just happens to be with politics. And we’re on a political board. So it shines bright. Nothing to lose sleep over.

So that's what's got your panties bunched up.

Roger implied that to be a Democrat one must not care about children. That is straight up hyperbole, even if statistically valid. That hyperbole is solely meant to draw a distinction between parties that isn't really there. I remember a time when Roger's posts weren't quite so partisan - more just conservative.

Like I said, I don't really know enough about Landrieu to have much of an opinion on him. I never lived in the city while he was mayor. I clicked on this thread hoping to actually learn something about him - but alas, I'm still just at...
