So that's what's got your panties bunched up.
Roger implied that to be a Democrat one must not care about children. That is straight up hyperbole, even if statistically valid. That hyperbole is solely meant to draw a distinction between parties that isn't really there. I remember a time when Roger's posts weren't quite so partisan - more just conservative.
Like I said, I don't really know enough about Landrieu to have much of an opinion on him. I never lived in the city while he was mayor. I clicked on this thread hoping to actually learn something about him - but alas, I'm still just at...

Ahhh. I see. You have your panties in a bunch about that hyperbole. Other hyperbole doesn’t affect your sensitive sensibilities as much. Hypocrisy. No biggie.
