Just listened to the Willie presser- someone asked him about not playing JV starting lineup even though it was pretty succesful? His answer we need to get them more looks. He was like we started JV in second half against Bucks.
His reasoning for using Nance-we need to be faster lol
I mean who cares if your faster if you suck??!!! I don’t understand how Willie doesn’t understand this. Its like he assumes theres no way you can win by using JV.

I’ve literally been saying the same. I’d rather run Zion at the 5 and surround him with shooters than Larry. That should be our center rotation. JV for 30 minutes and 18 minutes of small ball

Larry grabbed 3 rebound in 21 minutes. And he never gives you anything on offense and he’s too small to protect the rim. He can switch a little but that doesn’t help much when he’s so shite at everything else

Trey needs to be spoon fed. Putting him out there without deliberate actions/plays to get him looks/shots keeps him limited against good defensive teams. He's not going to put up a ton of shots sitting in space. That's just his nature. Why we don't run plays for him to get shots up is bizarre to me.
