But he’s there because his dad played for DVH at Northwestern State.

His grandfather was a pretty good D1 college pitcher in late 70's and 80's. He played at Centenary.

He’s my nephew. He went to the bad guys because LSU did not offer a scholarship until very late. How stupid

Ok, if he is your nephew, you should know this answer better than anyone.

Would he have been fine playing the Josh Stevenson role in 2022 and 2023?

Again, had he come to LSU out of high school, he would've left LSU by now.

This is total bullshite and you’re a fool if you believe it. Stovall was hurt all of last season and tried to play through until he couldn’t anymore. Had surgery, missed the last part of the season, and is now fully healthy for the first time since High School. He would DEFINITELY not have been processed at LSU.

What does the injury situation have to do with anything?

Even if healthy, who are you benching in the LSU infield for Stovall (who doesn't have the range to play SS btw, so they aren't benching Thompson)? The answer is no one the last two years.

Any player with aspirations beyond college baseball isn't sitting on the bench for two years in the transfer portal era.

What three players committed to us out of Haughton in 2006 ? I'm curious because I went to school at benton and half our team transferred to Haughton. I was good friends with Forrest and don't remember him being committed to lsu honestly. I remember him playing for arkansas

Dad played for Van Horne at NSU. Maneiri was looking shaky his last few years of his high school and inevitably retired. We missed a good player out of Lake Charles area that same cycle too to Miss State

Maybe it's the Meche kid from Barbe...he's gone from State too now to Northwestern State...and doing well I think.

He went from State to ULM and batted .185 there.

He's not playing anywhere currently but I guess will be at McNeese in the fall.

I think he was just saying players that were recruited, not committed.
