Last year was our year and everything sort of fell into place and that's what I see in Iowa this year. Last night, everything was falling for Iowa and everything Clark threw up seem to go in.

We couldn't hit FTs, layups, easy put backs and three-point shooting was hit and miss all night. That old saying, "Momma said there would be days like these," clearly defined the game last night.

Congrats to Iowa and I definitely think if their shots are falling that they have a legit shot at winning it all. I predict an Iowa - South Carolina final and that should one heck of a game to watch.

Congrats to our girls for one heck of a season!

They hit shots and we didn’t. Clark is impossible to stop but the rest of the starters combined to shoot 50% for 49 points. We really needed to play better defense against those players and we needed some competent basketball from HVL and Poa.

Its pretty wild that we had 18 more offensive boards and still couldn’t turn that into a win.

Yep. And many of LSU's were open and not closely guarded. That was the frustrating part.

Flauje shot 10 of 18. 56%

Rest of team shot 24 of 70. 34%

Poa 40%
Morrow 39%
Williams 38%
Reese 33%
Van Lith 20%

Clark shot 13 of 29. 45%

Rest of Iowa shot 19 of 40. 48%

All these things are true....it was just their night and not ours...maybe if we played today it may be different but.....

That’s cause she’s the goat. Nothing we could’ve done. I hope she goes all the way

LSU was the better team HVL cannot guard Clark , Johnson should have been on her Kim is stubborn needed to switch defenses. We were tired from the last game no bench Smith was a big big lost

Im kinda shocked LSU never blitzed the pick and rolls with consistency on Clark. Help out HVL a little more.

I disagree, CC was the best player on the floor by far, but we had the better team.

Not working the ball into Reese and back out in the second half when they were triple teaming her was the downfall and the few times she did, not hitting open shots killed us. Several 10-12ft jumpers were not made. At this day and age in women's basketball, open shots have to be made.

Felt like last year’s game, but Clark was really great as opposed to just good. The rest of Iowa was along for the ride again - Clark had 12 of their 16 assists FFS

I don’t think there’s much question that if you take her off Iowa that team is average

She is just that good

Indeed they were. CC is the best women's player I've seen.

Without Clark, Iowa is extremely average... but she's such a transcendent player. Kudos to her. She can shoot AND pass. An incredible combination. She carried that team.

HVL was doing all she could to play defense and frankly didn't have a lot of juice to play offense on the other end. I don't blame her for that but really she should've been super selective w/ her shots and drives to the basket.

All up, it was just a very high level basketball game and it was very cool to see the Tigers playing in it.

They were certainly the better team last pm. Can't argue with that.
