Chiefs will cut the Royals loose. Someone in both camps wasn’t thinking. First of all, the Chiefs tying themselves down with the Royals plans for Crossroads. Second, the Royals think they’d capitalize on the Crossroads “aura “, but they would just kill it. I know at least a couple dozen people who love First Friday and frequent the area on other days, and they don’t give a single frick about the Royals. Never have, never will. Crossroads is fine as it is.

Royals think they’ll replay the P&L but they won’t. Let Johnson or Wyandotte country take them. Keep the Chiefs.

Imagine that stadium footprint and then imagine Brewery Row on a Royals weekend series.....the parking already can be difficult but if a stadium is there in the Crossroads district there will be no parking for the patrons visiting Brewery Row.
