Not to hijack the purpose of your thread OP but for the fellow “oldsters” I guess, was WWL the station that carried Pistol Pete and the New Orleans Jazz way back in the day?
As a lad growing up in Central Texas, most nights I was able to pick up a station outta NOLA crystal clear that carried the Jazz games. Became a pretty big fan of Pistol and the Jazz back in those days listening in my bedroom while shooting the Nerf basketball around.
