I've been to Boston 3 times in the last 5 years, and no one ever denied alcohol to me due to an out of state ID.

Bad thread is bad

I went to Massachusetts and drank all over the state with a Texas DL. No problems whatsoever.

I had a fake ID when I was 18. It was a fake Louisiana license. There was a company in Dallas that made these for all my friends. I assume that's why you were turned down.

No it isn't. Where does your flier state the penalty for selling to someone with an out of state license? If there's no penalty, it's not against the law.

I don't know about the discrimination aspect, but I was refused in Tx. at a liquor store because my only American I.D. was my passport (I didn't even bother showing my German driver's license). I couldn't believe it, but there you are.
